SafetyConnect is a comprehensive safety management system designed to help busy contractors effectively manage and meet their obligations under the Electrical Safety Act 2002. As our membership numbers continue to steadily grow and with the recent release of the Master Electricians Program, we are looking to expand our facilitator pool to satisfy the increasing demand.

Cultural change is one of the biggest challenges we face when addressing safety in the electrical industry. So, we are seeking facilitators who are motivated and committed to driving this change.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Visiting Electrical Contracting businesses to deliver setup meetings, staff induction, safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Performing onsite audits
  • Monitoring and reporting on Contractors’ progress and compliance with the Program
  • Delivering effective meeting sessions, whilst adhering to specific agendas set by ECA
  • Assisting members to maintain their records
  • Maintaining knowledge of current legislation relevant to the electrical industry

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have relevant trade qualification
  • Must be an experienced electrical worker
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training in the Workplace and Assessment.
  • Must have excellent communication, public speaking and delivery skills
