How to become a Master Electrician

To be accredited as a Master Electrician you need to:

Provide your ABN
Provide your contractor’s licence number
Provide a copy of your public liability insurance
Have at least three years’ experience in the electrical industry
Implement an active safety management system (such as SafetyConnect, or equivalent)
Adopt a quality management system that ensures a high-quality service to customers
Demonstrate your commitment to providing customers with energy efficient options
Provide customers with a minimum 12 month workmanship guarantee
Comply with the Master Electricians Code of Ethics
Provide 24 hour response in contacting the customer
Submit audit details to show compliance with the above criteria prior to acceptance
