Master Electricians Australia (MEA) has received feedback around service difficulties that members are having with Ergon Energy. These issues include

  • Form A’s
  • Appointments not kept
  • Information supplied to Ergon being lost or not passed on
  • Lack of interaction between Ergon with contractors and customers due to the relocation of Ergon’s central work processing office to Rockhampton.

MEA continues to advocate on behalf of you, our members and in this instance is taking the matter to the highest level within Ergon Energy. Malcolm Richards, MEA CEO, has a meeting with Peter Billing, Ergon Energy’s acting CEO, for this Thursday 21 May.

If your business has been experiencing issues with Ergon Energy, please reply to me through this email outlining details of your experience. Your input will assist MEA to address these issues directly with Ergon Energy so they can make improvements to their processes, in turn making your job easier.
