Lauren van Strijp - Melbourne Electrical and Data Solutions
Victoria

Lauren is the Co–Founder and Director of Melbourne Electrical and Data Solutions. Having completed a Bachelor of Business degree, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and currently undertaking a Certificate IV in OHS, Lauren manages a team of electricians as well as all the administration, safety and compliance requirements for the company. In her downtime, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.




Rhea Felton - GreenElec
New South Wales

After leaving the corporate world 2 years ago, Rhea joined GreenElec to support the nontechnical operations of the company, including human resources, marketing, administration, accounting, and project management. Rhea has a fierce desire to nurture the staff within the company and support them to grow as professionals and forward thinkers in the electrical industry.
With post–graduate qualifications in Psychology and Social Health, Rhea is currently completing her Masters of Research, where she is collaborating on an international project on subjective well–being and individual empowerment. Prior to joining Greenlec, Rhea spent over 7 years working directly in human services roles supporting individuals craft their own path of success.

Sarah Loveday - Loveday Electrical
South Queensland

Sarah is an active and passionate member of the electrotechnology industry. As a 3rd generation electrician, it has always been a central part of her life. Over the past few years she has transitioned from working onsite, to estimating and running small projects, and now overseeing all aspects of Loveday Electrical as General Manager. Sarah is enthusiastic about her involvement with the MEA Women in Contracting committee, which she sees as an invaluable and supportive network for the many women who play critical, and sometimes underrated, roles within Electrical Contracting businesses. Sarah is hopeful that her commitment and drive will allow her to leave a positive impact on the electrical industry over the course of her lifetime.

Sonya Corkery - Electrotek (Qld)
North Queensland

Sonya is a mother of three, including her most recent addition, a 4 month old. She has been running the Townsville branch of their business for the past 3 years. She is committed to their business mission to educate and provide specialty electrical services in automation and EMS and is adept at managing the business’ social media and lead generation. With a 10–year background in financial planning, Sonya is now studying her Masters in Accounting part time (just for fun). She is also passionate about the environment and is a keen bee keeper.

 

Kimberley Madden Marshall - ComSpark
Western Australia

Kimberley holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Certificate III in Telecommunications and brings significant business acumen to the ComSpark team. Her varied background in many diverse industries gives her the experience to manage and grow ComSpark. She joined ComSpark in 2010 in a business development role and has progressed to the role of General Manager. During her 7 years at ComSpark Kimberley has undergone extensive training to gain an understanding of the electrical contracting industry, including onsite ‘TA’ duties, as well as running on site several projects. Kimberley is the WA Master Electrician Business Woman of the Year for 2014 and 2015, and the 2017 WA Women in Contracting winner.

Sue Lock - Sharpe Electrical
South Australia

At the age of 40 Sue migrated from England to Australia to undertake a degree in Adelaide. During her studies, she took a role in debt collection for Sharpe Group, soon being promoted to Company Accountant within three years. The role has proved both challenging and rewarding, with many changes to the company structure, including a new plumbing division, followed by solar, battery storage and smart technology. Sue says she has gained invaluable experience through this evolution into new marketplaces. She is proud to be a key part of the company’s growth and success.
