Danny Kennedy, Sungevity

As the president of up and coming residential solar power company Sungevity, Danny Kennedy promotes the use of clean energy and endeavours to eliminate the world’s dependence on fossil fuel.
Danny discussed the way the American residential solar market has grown through third-party financing, and how electricians are getting into the solar game.

Stan Lazarian, ESSCO

Stan Lazarian is the president of Electric Service & Supply Co (ESSCO). Placing particular importance on the opportunities available to learn from other countries, Stan shared his expertise on how contractors can work together to create the best outcomes for the industry.

Bill Shermoerhorn

William Schermerhorn was our Hoover Dam guru. With 14 years of experience at the Hoover Dam under
his belt, Bill provided an in-depth look into the Hoover Dam and its construction, including some common misconceptions about the dam, its electrical ouput to Las Vegas, and its connection with Australia.

 

Activities

Cowboy Town Dinner at Bonnie Springs

This event was a boot-scootin' bonanza! Guests enjoyed a night of networking and entertainment, with the chance to dance along with our hosts in a line-dancing lesson.

Hoover Dam Tour

The Hoover Dam tour provided an in-depth look into the world’s largest concrete arch-gravity dam. It was a unique way to see, learn and appreciate all aspects of the dam. Guests were treated to a tour inside the power plant, exhibit gallery and more, and had access to the Observation Deck level located on the top floor of the Visitor Centre.

Finale Function - Masquerade Ball

The Finale Function really got guests into the Las Vegas spriti, with a Masquerade Ball at the Venitian. Guests were entertained by the court jester and enjoyed a Venetian style feast at the fabulous Lido Ballroom to top off a great stay in fabulous Las Vegas.
