Following the independent review of Queensland’s electrical licensing framework, new eligibility requirements for qualified technical person (QTP) and qualified business person (QBP) were introduced for Queensland electrical contractor licences. The new requirements commenced on 1 July 2018.
Electricians must have an electrical contractor licence to provide electrical work for others as a sole trader, in partnership or corporation. Master Electricians has partnered with Electrogroup to offer Electrical Contracting License Modules to Electricians wanting to obtain an electrical contracting license.
