CER Solar Inspections

 

Your solar system was registered with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) upon installation and randomly selected to be inspected at no cost to the homeowner as part of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) Inspections Program.

If you accept the inspection MEA will organise for an inspector to contact you and book in an inspection time that suits you.   • Who is the CER?

    The CER is the statutory agency that administers the Australian Government’s SRES Inspections Program under the Renewable Energy Target.  Master Electricians Australia has been engaged by the CER to undertake this inspection on its behalf.

  • Inspection Information

    The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the installation meets the requirements for Commonwealth incentives under the SRES, including Australian Standards for performance and quality, and system design and installation standards. Details regarding the outcomes of the inspection will be shared with you and the relevant state/territory regulator.

    • The inspection will take approximately 1 hour
    • You or someone you entrust will need to be present, as written consent is required for the inspection to proceed
    • Please have any supplied installation documentation, including user manuals, in preparation for your appointment with the inspector
