As State Manager of Power Up, I lead a 40+ personnel team delivering commercial electrical services across Queensland. I bring over a decade of leadership in complex maintenance, refurbishment, and infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on reliability, standards, and service delivery. I’m passionate about raising the bar across our industry supporting initiatives that ensure we attract and retain talent within our industry.
Hi! I’m Jacqui and together with my husband Brodie, I own and operate Power Solutions, a Brisbane-based electrical contracting business which operates in the tier-2 construction and fitout space. Our business just turned 9 earlier this month and we’ve grown from a team of one to a team of 35. We love the fast-paced, high-energy and satisfying results of the construction industry, but it’s not without its challenges and injustices. We like to play ‘win:win’ business – with our staff, our suppliers, our subbies and our clients. It shouldn’t and doesn’t need to be ‘win: lose’ and I’d love to see an end to this short-sighted and savage mentality. Prior to working in the business, I worked for over a decade in the corporate world (I have degrees in business and law) and I would love to channel my experiences and passion into something bigger than my own business that genuinely helps to improve the industry.
Mia Graham, co-founder and CEO of M2 Electrical, has a proven track record of strategic business growth, having led her company from a startup to a team of 70. With an MBA and a unique background in Occupational Therapy and Work Health and Safety, she combines business acumen with a passion for leadership development to build a highly engaged, safe, and healthy workplace. Mia is committed to applying her strategic vision and expertise to the Master Electricians Queensland Council to help the industry thrive and navigate future challenges with resilience and care.
Sole director of R Jay Electrical Services, which offers new residential and solar services, I have proudly served as a councillor on the Master Electricians board for the past two years. Throughout my journey, I took my children to conferences and have attended every Women in Contracting event from the start, gaining long-term friendships. R Jay Electrical Services has been a MEA member for 34 years and is a Gold Master Electrician. I feel I can contribute so much more in this role and remain dedicated to promoting the incredible benefits of MEA, attending every event, gaining overall knowledge, contacts, and feedback to further our industry’s growth, especially through the challenging times we face.

Brent now focuses on business development and nurturing long-standing client relationships, while mentoring the next generation—including his son Tyson, who has stepped into a leadership role within the business. With a solid foundation, a clear succession plan, and a continued commitment to excellence, Brent remains a respected leader in the electrical industry and a valued contributor to his local community.
I began my career as an industrial electrician and now oversee electrical infrastructure across regional Queensland, serving as both a Qualified Business Person and Technical Person at Sunwater. I lead the creation of a governance and compliance role that has strengthened our approach to electrical safety and regulatory alignment. With deep experience in high voltage operations, protection systems, and contractor challenges, I bring practical insight, strategic leadership, and a strong commitment to industry improvement.
