The Queensland and Australian Governments have announced a joint $115 million investment to strengthen Queensland’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
This funding aims to:
💡 Improve access to skills and training
💡 Better align training with industry needs
💡 Support more Queenslanders to complete their training and be job-ready
It will deliver this by offering:
💡 Clearer information and guidance to help students choose the right course and access funded training
💡 Expanded support services, including outreach to apprentices and students who have left training, to help them re-engage
💡 Broader access to foundation skills, particularly digital skills, for apprentices, trainees and students
