The Australian Government has issued an updated Fixed Term Contract Information Statement (FTCIS).
Limitations on the use of fixed term employment contracts have been in place since 6 December 2023, with some exemptions applying. Further adjustments to these exemptions are now being introduced, taking effect from 1 November 2025.
