Three grants are available to help cover costs of improving energy efficiency:
1. Submetering Grants (Round 2) – Up to $20,000, covering 50% of project costs, for installation of new permanent submeters. These are designed to provide clearer insights into energy use and overall performance.
2. Metering Plan Implementation Grants (Round 2) – Between $20,001 and $100,000 to cover up to 50% of project costs to implement metering and monitoring systems.
3. Energy Performance Service Grants – Up to $50,000, covering 50% of project costs, to help businesses that already have submetering hardware in place to improve energy performance through effective use of metering data.
