The Western Australian Government has completed its review of key provisions under the Construction Industry Portable Paid Long Service Leave Act 1985 (WA), resulting in revised interpretations of ordinary pay for casual workers.

These changes affect how contributions and long service leave claims are calculated and will apply from the October–December 2025 reporting period.
