TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Passes: There are three different types of conference passes:
Delegate/Partner pass: access to all lunches, dinners, business sessions, evening functions etc. as listed in the program (excluding optional offsite activities and post-event tour).
Teenage pass: (13-17yrs): activities to keep the teens entertained + welcome dinner, morning afternoon tea and lunches.
Rugrat pass: (2-12yrs): kids club activities during business sessions + welcome dinner, morning afternoon tea and lunches.
Optional activities: There are three optional activities in the conference program plus one post conference tour. These activities and tour are not included in the conference pass cost. Prices are listed on page 2.
Accommodation: is not included in the pass cost. You have several options to choose from. A limited number of one bedroom, two bedroom & interconnecting Suites are available email [email protected]
Payment: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. All passes and accommodation must be paid in full by 28 April 2024. Prices exclude airfares
GST: As the conference is held outside of Australia, GST only applies to certain components of the event. GST will apply to a specific portion of the conference pass cost. GST is not applicable to
the accommodation or optional tours/activities.
Force Majeure (COVID): If a government restriction is imposed which means a venue cannot operate/provide their services during the conference dates, the venue will hold all monies which will be applied to a future conference at the same venue. No refund will be provided.
Indemnification and Liability: All attendees indemnify MEA, its staff and any/all other related entities from any loss or damage arising from their actions. Liability is limited to the registration fee (conference pass) paid by the delegate. In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, for the conference to be postponed, dates changed, or cancelled, MEA shall not be liable for expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the registered delegate.
Conference Program: The Program and pricing are subject to change. MEA reserves the right to make alterations to all arrangements relating to the conference program, activities, and post-event tour as published, either before or during the conference.
Booking Cancellations: Cancellations must be notified in writing. If a cancellation notice is received prior to 29 February 2024 a refund will be processed less the $500 non-refundable deposit. From 1 March–28 April 2024 a 50% refund will be processed less the $500 non-refundable deposit. If cancellation is received after 1 May 2024 no refund will be provided for conference passes (all types) or accommodation. All attendees are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance.
