NSW Solar for Apartment Residents (SoAR) Scheme Extended
The NSW Solar for Apartment Residents (SoAR) scheme has been extended until March 2026, giving more apartment dwellers the opportunity to access and benefit from solar energy.
The program is designed to make solar more accessible for residents living in multi-unit buildings by addressing common barriers such as shared roof space and limited access to individual solar installations.
An eligible applicant under the program must be either:
- a NSW residential owners corporation
- a strata managing agent.
