Safe Work Australia Reviewing the National WHS Framework 

Safe Work Australia is currently undertaking a review of the national Work Health and Safety model framework. 

MEA has lodged a submission with Safe Work Australia encouraging a balanced approach to workplace safety; one that carefully weighs costs against benefits and recognises the limited resources available to small businesses when implementing safety requirements.  You can read MEA's submission here. 

Members are encouraged to share their views directly through the survey portal, which remains open until 30 November 2025.
