Round 2 of the Queensland Government's Secure Communities Partnership Program has opened to small and family businesses. 

 Grants of up to $20,000 (per project) will cover:

• Alarm systems
• Access control and entry management
• Surveillance and detection
• Lighting and environmental security
• Physical security

 To be eligible, applicants must fit the following criteria:

• Employ less than 20 employees
• Have an annual turnover of $10 million or less
• Have been significantly impacted by crime within the last three years
