The Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 expired on 31 August and has been remade as the ESR 2026. This is a renumbering and consolidation exercise: there’s no change to your compliance obligations or the policy intent behind them.
What has changed is presentation, not substance:
- New section and part numbers
- Reordered provisions for easier navigation
- Removal of duplicated or redundant clauses
