Sarah Loveday – Loveday Electrical

Sarah Loveday is a passionate member of the electrotechnology industry, as a 3rd generation electrician. After being at the forefront of significant growth she was appointed Managing Director of Loveday Electrical. In 2018, Sarah was also elected Councillor on the board for Master Electricians Australia.

Brooke MacGregor – Genergy

Brooke purchased Genergy Australia from her parents at market value and now sits at the helm as Managing Director. Brooke draws from her Bachelor of Business (QUT) and Master of Professional Accounting (QUT) to run a successful company. In 2015, she was honoured with MEA’s National Women in Contracting Award.

Janelle Miller – A&J Electrical

A longstanding and loyal member of Master Electricians Australia for over 35 years, Janelle is the Business Manager of A & J Electrical & Air Conditioning Services. She has a wealth of experience in managing an electrical contracting business and understands that it is not always smooth sailing.

 

Tracey Taylor – Events Manager, MEA

Tracey Taylor is MEA’s Events Manager and has been with the organisation since 2017. In this role, she manages: Conference, Excellence Awards, Branch Meetings, Golf Days and Women in Contracting. She previously ran her own Event Management Company for 20 years and has worked with many charities including Variety Club, Act for Kids, Leukaemia Foundation and Diabetes Queensland.

 

Melissa Stanford – AddStaff

Melissa brings over 14 years’ experience operating within the electrical and associated industries, with a passion for on workforce planning, recruitment, apprenticeships and employee retention.

In April 2014, Melissa founded Add Staff Group, which provides recruitment, mentoring and workforce management solutions tailored specifically to support the trades, services, construction, infrastructure and associated industries.

Melissa was a Finalist for the Telstra Young Business Woman’s Awards in 2017, and is a passionate businesswomen with a focus on building and connecting networks within the industry.

Sally Higgs – Alykan Electrical Solutions

We welcome Sally who has joined us in 2022. She brings a wealth of industry experience, which most recently saw her lead Alykan Electrical Solutions to victory at the State and National level across three categories in the Master Electrician Awards. Alykan Electrical Solutions won the prestigious Victoria Master Electrician of the Year Award for their commitment to delivering quality and servicing the needs of commercial builders. Co-founder and General Manager Sally Higgs also took home the State and National award for Women in Contracting for her effective leadership and the skilled team she has built over the years.

Jacqui Sherriff – O’Brien Electrical Granville

Laura Hall – Brighter Super

Laura has an extensive career in superannuation, spanning 17 years.  Her experience with Energy Super, now Brighter Super, has helped her understand the unique challenges for the electrical industry and the individual needs for both the owners and their employees.  With quality superannuation education, encouragement and support of women in the industry, her aim is for women to achieve the comfortable retirement that they’ve always dreamed of.
