Earn up to 170 SAA CPD Points

Master Electricians Australia are committed in supporting your professional development and your Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) CPD accreditation requirements. As of 25 July 2025, all learning modules within the Master Program including the more advanced Safety and Workplace Relations streams are now eligible to earn SAA CPD points upon their successful completion.

This initiative between MEA and SAA, will assist you in acquiring your 100 CPD that you require each year to maintain your accreditation and continue working in the solar and renewable energy space.

What Are the Master Program ‘Safety’ and ‘Workplace Relations’ Streams?

It’s a series of 9 online self-paced modules, designed specifically for electricians like you who are running your own business with employees. These 9 modules are split into the following:

  • Safety Stream – 5 online modules (up to 70 CPD Points).
  • Workplace Relations Stream – 4 online modules (up to 65 CPD Points).

Below are video samples of each module and the number of CPD Points behind each.

To claim your CPD Points, simply provide SAA proof of your successful completion of the modules it’s that simple.

Master Program – Safety

You know the skills of the trade, now its’s time to master your business safety process and practices. The Master Program – Safety learning stream will guide you through the essential knowledge that you’ll need to ensure you are adhering to legislated business safety requirements, safety management and maintaining risk assessments and SWMS, plus other essential knowledge and skills in key electrical safety requirements and processes.

You know the skills of the trade, now it’s time to master your business Workplace Relations (WR) processes and practices. The Master Program – Workplace Relations learning stream will guide you through practical strategies for managing your workforce and essential best practices to save you time and money.

You’ll learn the importance of good Workplace Relations management in the electrical contracting industry and strategies to manage your staff through the various stages of employment.
