MEA is creating more opportunities for members to have a direct say in the advocacy work we undertake on behalf of the electrical industry.
We regularly seek input from members on government consultations, policy proposals and emerging industry issues, and we want to make it easier for members with a particular interest or experience in an issue to get involved.
If there is a particular issue you care about, we want to hear from you.
Members can email [email protected] with the topics or issues they are interested in providing feedback on. We will then include you in relevant communications when consultations, or requests for member insight arise.
How does it work?
There is no formal process and no closing date. Simply let us know what issues matter to you and we will add you to the relevant communications.
There is also no obligation to respond. If you receive an email and have something to contribute, we would love to hear from you. If you don't have anything to add, you can simply ignore it. You can also unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
Some issues may only generate occasional updates, while others may result in more frequent communications when they are particularly active or time-sensitive.
The aim is simple: to give more members the opportunity to contribute directly to MEA's advocacy, while ensuring our policy work is informed by the practical experiences of the businesses we represent.
If there is an industry issue you are passionate about, email [email protected] and let us know.
